DJ Solar B came to spin tunes at the opening of our new bar – brilliant job, read the room really well and kept the guests buzzing all night!

DJ Solar B dj’ed my 30th birthday party and impressed all my family and friends. He played 90s and 00s R&B and Hiphop, Afrobeats and dancehall all night and had us on our feet dancing. A lot of my friends/family have said they would use him in the future. In the lead up to the party we had a friendly exchange about music preferences and preparation. He was very well prepared for the event and very friendly. I will definitely use him for future events.

It was a 70’s night, and I requested a mix of ’70s, R&B and AfroBeats music, and he delivered more than I could have asked for.

We had quite high expectations for the music and Solar B delivered with the perfect balance of old school and new school R&B, Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Afro Beats and Hip-Hop. So many of our guests voiced that they had not enjoyed themselves and had fun like it in yearsss which was definitely part due to the music. It’s a very special feeling looking around and seeing your loved ones dancing, vibing to music and genuinely enjoying themselves after all the months of preparation. Cannot recommend Solar B enough 🙂

Solar B, was put forward from a friend of mine cos I was searching for someone that had a good genre of music that I liked for my wedding! I can only say that this guy was awesome, & threw down tune after tune which didn’t disappoint my guests!
I’ve since kept in touch with Solar B, & I’m a frequent listener to his radio show!

Solar B has been part of the behindagroove family for well over six months and, within these times we have been truly impressed with his commitment, desire and passion.

Solar currently slots into the 10pm-12midnight each and every Saturday in which he presents the “Rhythm B Soul. This show is a mixture of old and new flavours of soul music fused together in a continuous mix. This particular slot an important and sought after slot in which Solar has grown into it with his diverse and wide range of musicology. It has been noted that through his knowledge of music Solar is able to capture a wide range of audiences which indicates to us that he is able to hold his own.

It is a pleasure to have Solar B on board and we believe he is a very good acquisition to have, this is demonstrated by his drive and enthusiasm and professionalism, and also representing our Ethos and what we are all about with Behindagroove radio, Music innovation by Pro DJs.

DJ Solar B recently DJ’ed at our wedding and his set was absolutely incredible and even exceeded my very high expectations of what he could do.

He played a mix of Disco, Classic Soul, Soulful House, Hip-Hop and Pop catered to our tastes and even some special advance requests of Rock music (a genre he would never normally play) and the party just never stopped. He structured it brilliantly and his mixing was absolutely exceptional at all times. Everyone loved it and the dance-floor was packed the entire night. We still talk about the disco months later! He made our day. 🙂

I’ve seen some extraordinary DJ’s in my time including Jazzy Jeff, Kerri Chandler, Karizma, Masters at Work, and the late Frankie Knuckles but Solar B’s set was right up there.
